International efforts

(Previously, Social Creatives goes overseas once a year to develop our creativity, artistic flavour and gain insights with ideas to new possibilities. We believe that the world is our osyter and that the grass is greener on the other side. Our advancement plan has initiated our international efforts and local initiatives further while through strategic planning, cultural diplomacy, conferences, collaborations and our impact plan is found below

Collaborations >

Mixed outcomes and many colours

Social Creatives was invited to create artworks and speak at a conference called Arts4Peace in Ethiopia by African Artists Peace Initiative. Social Creatives’ Founder also attended a dialogue session at the African Union inline with the 26th African Summit. Through learning involved,  Social Creatives then after created a proposal to create artworks in ASEAN countries, but it was rejected by the National Arts Council Singapore.

Social Creatives sent an Artist team of 10 people to create a total of 10 public artworks. The artworks created were a mixture of artistic expressions, collaboration with local Nepali artists as well as community engagement murals. To maximize outreach and “volunTOURism”, a Delegates Team joined the programme through arts and tourism activities with community itinerary. For more information on this project, please click here.


Future Plan

The collection of involvements has created plans for being an NGO or having a branch overseas inline with creating artworks of scale similar to Philadelphia Mural Arts Program but about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals in developing countries and to create employment of non-artists to budding artists through a career curriculum.
